Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Quim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomi Pozsar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Quim is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmy Quim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomi Pozsar! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quim slips a jab from Pozsar. Pozsar throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Quim throws a sloppy head kick and Pozsar moves out of range easily. Pozsar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Quim scores with a jab. Pozsar acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Pozsar throws a leg kick which misses Quim's front leg but catches the back leg as Quim tries to avoid it. Pozsar lands with a thumping leg kick.
Quim misses with a leg kick. Sloppy strikes from Quim. Those never looked like landing. Some bone on bone action there as Pozsar checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Pozsar slips under a jab from Quim. Pozsar moves into range and clinches up with Quim. Quim is trying to push Pozsar away but Pozsar has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Quim wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Pozsar lands an elbow just above Quim 's eye.
It looks like Jimmy Quim has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pozsar lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Quim can't break the clinch.

Pozsar dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Quim is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pozsar pulls him back up using the underhooks. Quim breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. This has been an exciting period of action! Pozsar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Quim avoids the body shot from Pozsar.
A jab from Quim misses. Quim shoots for a double leg takedown but Pozsar sprawls well. He's pushed Quim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Quim fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pozsar lands with an uppercut that bounces Quim off the cage and back into range. Pozsar connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Quim misses with an uppercut. Pozsar saw that one coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quim lands with a straight right. Pozsar didn't see that one coming. Quim will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pozsar uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Quim. Pozsar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Quim sees it coming and avoids it easily. Pozsar misses with a hook. A good leg kick by Quim. Quim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pozsar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Quim jabbing away but nothing is landing. Quim gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pozsar. Quim lands with a nice body punch. Quim misses the jab. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Quim checks a leg kick. Quim fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Quim looks to land a right hand but Pozsar moved out of range. Jimmy Quim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pozsar thows a left - swing and a miss! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Quim, right into the meat.
Pozsar throws a low kick, looking for Quim's leg but Quim calmly moves out of range. A cross from Quim lands. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Quim dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Quim cracks Pozsar with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Pozsar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tomi Pozsar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jimmy Quim's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pozsar takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Pozsar is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Quim is trying to force a seperation but Pozsar has the dominant position.

Pozsar comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. A shot in the inside from Quim. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Quim has picked Pozsar up - he's going for a ride! Quim dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Pozsar looks like he's trying to stand up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pozsar can do anything to dispel that myth. Quim wants to take a breather but Pozsar is having none of it. Pozsar is trying to stand up here but Quim is controlling him well. Quim is working for a submission of some sort.

Quim throws a hook to the side of Pozsar's head but Pozsar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Quim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Quim throws a chopping leg kick but Pozsar manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Quim bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Quim darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Tomi Pozsar seems to be getting the better of the standup. Pozsar takes a jab right on the kisser.

Quim connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pozsar. Pozsar circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Quim throws a poor cross that misses
and Pozsar counters with a low kick, right behind Quim 's knee. Quim keeps Pozsar at a distance using the push kick. Pozsar lands a glancing blow to the side of Quim's head. Quim misses with a low kick as Pozsar jumps back. Pozsar dodges the punch combination from Quim.

Quim connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pozsar's hands. Quim avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Quim throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A nice leg kick lands there from Pozsar. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Quim looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Quim checks the leg kick nicely there.
