Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Heimer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Heimer! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Heimer misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Bob counters by clinching up. Bob missing with knees to the body.
Heimer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Heimer is trying to push Bob away but Bob has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bob is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Heimer gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bob wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Heimer throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Bob pushes off an throws an elbow but Heimer leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Bob tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Heimer just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bob pulls guard effortlessly. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bob has his feet on Heimer's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Heimer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bob has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bob there as he acknowledges the shot. Heimer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bob circles away quickly and effectively. Heimer misses with a few strikes there.

Bob throws a push kick but Heimer slaps the foot to one side. Heimer misses with a two punch combination.
Heimer feints a jab promting Bob to slip. Heimer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bob slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Heimer lands with an uppercut that bounces Bob off the cage and back into range. This has been an exciting period of action! Heimer cracks Bob with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Heimer is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Bob feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Heimers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Heimer ducks right into an uppercut from Bob. Heimer throws a series of punches but Bob avoids them all with ease. Bob shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Heimer sprawls well. Heimer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bob gets slowly back to his feet.
Bob clinches up against the cage. Come on Bob - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Bob blocks an elbow strike from Heimer.
Bob keeps control of Heimer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bob has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Heimer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Heimer prevents Bob from breaking the clinch. Bob content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Heimer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bob's elbow. Heimer is trying to push Bob away but Bob has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bob is trying to break free. Bob has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Heimer after a bit of a struggle. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bob is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Heimer is defending well. Bob is breathing heavily. Bob is looking to break free of the clinch but Heimer has double underhooks. Bob blocks the elbow strike.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Josh Heimer will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bob prevents Heimer from breaking the clinch. Bob has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Heimer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bob tries to pull guard but Heimer forces him back to his feet, against the cage. A short uppercut from Bob. Heimer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bob with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bob changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Heimer fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him. Heimer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bob's hands.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Heimer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bob manages to avoid it. Bob fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Heimer avoids it really well and circles away. A punch combination from Heimer misses. Heimer misses with a kick to the body.
A combination from Heimer does no damage. Bob shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Heimer as he avoids it easily. Josh Heimer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bob avoids a punch combination nicely.

Heimer lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Heimer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Heimer throws a series of punches but Bob moves out of range. Heimer throws a hook to the side of Bob's head but Bob sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bob defending well as Heimer loads up on a big left hand. Bob dives in and grabs Heimer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Heimer pushes down on Bob's head and hops out. Heimer throws a series of punches but Bob moves out of range. Heimer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

No joy there for Heimer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bob shoots in for a takedown but Heimer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Heimer looks to land a right hand but Bob moved out of range.
Bob takes the fight into the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bob tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Heimer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bob avoids it. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Heimer walks away with a smile on his face. Bob gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Heimer has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Heimer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bob closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Heimer lands a body shot. Heimer has had enough of the clinch but Bob keeps him there for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Heimer on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Heimer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Heimer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Bob tries to pull guard but Heimer forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Bob drops down looking for an ankle pick but Heimer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bob slips a straight right by Heimer. Bob throws a nice looking combination but Heimer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Heimer stuffs the takedown attempt from Bob. Bob gets slowly back to his feet. Heimer throws a nice looking combination but Bob bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Heimer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Heimer throws a lazy right hand but Bob sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A combination from Heimer does no damage. Heimer misses with a low kick.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Heimer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bob circles away quickly and effectively. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Heimer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bob has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jim Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sloppy strikes from Heimer. Those never looked like landing. Bob throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Heimer's waist but Heimer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bob off to one side. Jim Bob has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bob slips a jab and a cross from Heimer.
And that's the end of the fight! Josh Heimer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Heimer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
