PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cotton Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Lytle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lytle comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Light's Out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Hill darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
No luck for Lytle with that takedown attempt.
Lytle blocks a jab.

Lytle feints and as Hill raises his hands in defense, Lytle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lytle tries to free his leg and advance position but Hill is retaining full guard.

Lytle has hold of Hill's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hill manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Lytle goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hill turns into him and now he's in Lytle's guard.

Lytle has his foot on Hill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hill works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lytle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
