Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Trickle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cole Trickle! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buckner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Trickle slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trickle is looking for a sweep. Buckner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Buckner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trickle keeps working. Trickle tries to roll over but Buckner keeps him under control. Buckner looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Trickle is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Trickle manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Trickle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Buckner manages to get himself to full guard.
Trickle passes easily into side control. Nice work. Buckner struggling a bit here. Trickle in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trickle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buckner keeps working. Buckner is trying to get back to his feet. Trickle is chipping away with strikes.
Trickle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Trickle trying to control the action but Buckner is working from the bottom. Trickle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Buckner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Trickle tries to advance to mount but Buckner denies him. Buckner tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Buckner is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Buckner is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Trickle in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Trickle goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Buckner turns into him and now he's in Trickle's guard.
Buckner looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Trickle lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Buckner! Trickle scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Buckner?
Buckner is in a horrible position here. Trickle smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trickle has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Buckner is forced to tap!
