Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eisenstein Priestley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Seamus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eisenstein Priestley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Patrick Seamus!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priestley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Seamus instigates a clinch.

Priestley breaks the clinch.

Priestley has closed the distance and engaged Seamus in a clinch.

Priestley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Priestley stuffs the takedown attempt from Seamus. Seamus gets slowly back to his feet.
Priestley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Seamus pinned against the cage. Seamus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Priestley clinches.
Seamus has Priestley pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Priestley manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Seamus is working for takedown but Priestley is calmly controlling the position for now.

Seamus misses with a few strikes there.

Priestley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Seamus jumps guard but Priestley stands there with Seamus around his waist. Seamus gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Priestley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Seamus looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Seamus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Seamus is looking for a kimura but Priestley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Seamus to get the leverage.
Seamus is stalling here. Priestley is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Seamus seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Priestley has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Seamus manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Still in half guard, Priestley seems content to control.
Seamus is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Priestley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Priestley's back!
Seamus has the hooks in. Priestley is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Priestley is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Seamus is looking for a choke. Priestley gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Priestley manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Patrick Seamus dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Priestley goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

No joy there for Priestley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Priestley is desperately trying to improve his position but Seamus has a good base and remains in mount.

Priestley is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Seamus wants to get back to his feet but Priestley is holding on tight.

Priestley is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.
Priestley lands a head kick. Seamus smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Priestley shoots in and drives through. Seamus sprawls well.
Priestley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Priestley thuds his shin into the meat of Seamus's side.
Seamus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Seamus misses with a takedown attempt - Priestley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Seamus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eisenstein Priestley dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Seamus circles away from the clinch attempt.
Priestley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looks like Eisenstein Priestley has been cut.
Seamus stuffs the takedown attempt from Priestley. Priestley gets slowly back to his feet.

Priestley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Seamus swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Seamus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Priestley as he jumps to the side.
Priestley misses with an uppercut.

Priestley instigates a clinch.

Priestley lands a knee to the head.
Priestley landing knees to the body.
Seamus tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Priestley smiles and moves away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Priestley.

Priestley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Seamus looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Priestley keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Seamus is trying to control the action in half guard but Priestley is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Seamus seems to be looking for submissions.

Priestley is refusing to be controlled, as Seamus sits in half guard.

Seamus is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Priestley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Seamus scores with a couple of nice shots.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eisenstein Priestley.
I think Priestley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
