Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jim Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zander Pochinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes into the arena with Black Belt Jones - Dennis Coffey blaring out of the sound system. Zander Pochinski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly walks into a stiff left hand from Pochinski.
Pochinski lands with a straight right. Kelly didn't see that one coming.
Pochinski wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pochinski moves into range and connects with a jab.
Pochinski takes a swing at Kelly's ribcage but misses.

Kelly closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pochinski did well to prevent Kelly getting side control.

Pochinski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kelly's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kelly's back!

I really don't envy Kelly right now.
Pochinski is not going to allow Kelly to sit and survive in this position.
Kelly tries to escape but Pochinski has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pochinski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pochinski throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kelly stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Zander Pochinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Pochinski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kelly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pochinski manages to avoid it.

Pochinski lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pochinski.

Kelly slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Pochinski has his hands clasped together around Kelly's back. He's all about the action.
Kelly wants to free his trapped foot but Pochinski is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Pochinski is not content to let Kelly control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pochinski is trying to control but can't.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pochinski can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pochinski is looking to get back to full guard here but Kelly has managed to pass to side control instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kelly tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kelly has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Zander Pochinski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Pochinski thuds his right hand into Kelly's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Pochinski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pochinski.
Pochinski stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

I've got Pochinski winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
