Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Hankerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Joseph Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hank Hankerson!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hankerson throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hankerson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones wants to clinch.
Hankerson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.
Hankerson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Hankerson persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.

Hankerson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure.

Hankerson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones!

Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hankerson tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hankerson to the ground. Hankerson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A very excited looking Joseph Jones rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
