Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anthony Grant!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee asks Tremblay politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Tremblay prefers to stall for the moment though.
Grant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tremblay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tremblay seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Grant for as long as he can get away with.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We're going to have a standup here because Jason Tremblay wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Tremblay shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Grant is trying to defend but Tremblay finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Grant throws a sloppy head kick and Tremblay moves out of range easily.

Grant lands with a kick to the temple. Tremblay shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Grant stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grant wants it to stay on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tremblay is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Grant with him. Grant is trying to defend but Tremblay has an arm under the chin now! Grant grimaces and is forced to tap out!
