Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stephoune Father (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hois Kreisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kreisi's choice of entrance music: Ella ja Aleksi - Kakkaa lumella. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hois Kreisi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephoune Father! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hois Kreisi! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Father lands with a nice body punch. Kreisi misses with a looping right. Father swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kreisi. Excellent takedown into side control there by Father. Kreisi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Kreisi is looking for a sweep. Father is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kreisi actively working from the bottom here. Father missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Father wants to take a breather but Kreisi is having none of it. Kreisi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kreisi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Father! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Father is working to get back to half guard.
Father tries to hold on but Kreisi pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kreisi misses with a head shot. Kreisi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Father can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kreisi is in the full mount, landing strikes.
It looks like Stephoune Father has been cut. Kreisi tries to control but Father wriggling away. Kreisi throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Kreisi cracks Father with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Father avoids a series of strikes thrown by Kreisi.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Father is trying desperately to improve position. Kreisi looking to finish Father with some ground and pound. This is bad for Father!
Stephoune Father's cut is getting worse. Kreisi jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Father manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kreisi throws a strike aimed at the side of Father's head but Father avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Father wants to control but Kreisi postures up. Kreisi tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Kreisi tries for a kimura but Father is defending well. Kreisi lands an elbow. Kreisi working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Kreisi throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Kreisi is looking to take a break and control but Father is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Father prevents Kreisi from improving position. Father is trying to control Kreisi's posture but Kreisi avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kreisi misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Kreisi misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Father can't do much from the bottom here. Kreisi is trying to ground and pound but Father uses the momentary lack of control by Kreisi to regain half guard. Kreisi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Father knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Kreisi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Father trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Father keeping hold of Kreisi's head, controlling as best he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kreisi prevents Father from improving his position. Father moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kreisi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kreisi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kreisi is in close to Father's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kreisi looking to pass the guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hois Kreisi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Stephoune Father's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kreisi throws a hook to the side of Father's head but Father sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Father shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kreisi defends it nicely. Father lands with an uppercut that bounces Kreisi off the cage and back into range. Father is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kreisi. Kreisi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kreisi misses the shot to the body. Father misses with a few strikes there.
Kreisi drives through with a takedown into Father's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Father had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kreisi defends it easily. Kreisi works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kreisi is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Father is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kreisi scoring with strikes but Father is staying in there. Kreisi wants to finish this one by submission but Father is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kreisi. Father is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Father slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Father trying to hold on to Kreisi's head to control him but Kreisi postures up.
Kreisi moves nicely into side control. Kreisi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kreisi wants to control but Father is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kreisi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Father haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. You can see the frustration on Father's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kreisi tries to advance to mount but Father denies him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kreisi tries to score with some ground and pound. Father controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kreisi working away. Kreisi advances to mount. Father keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kreisi trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kreisi throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Father wants to hold on but Kreisi pushes him away. Kreisi is landing with some decent strikes but Father is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kreisi throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Father because Kreisi loaded up on that one. Kreisi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Father is now in Kreisi's guard. A big mistake from Kreisi there, giving up the dominant position! Father with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kreisi working for submissions but it's allowed Father to get to half guard.
Father drops an elbow to the side of Kreisi's head. Kreisi tries to get to full guard but Father has control of the leg. Father seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kreisi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Father is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kreisi looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hois Kreisi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Stephoune Father's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A right-left combo lands from Kreisi. Father looks to score with a jab to the body but Kreisi is just out of range. Kreisi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Father fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Father shoots in and gets a takedown into Kreisi's guard. Father postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kreisi is looking for a triangle but Father pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kreisi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kreisi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kreisi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Father is one step ahead there. Kreisi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Father can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kreisi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Father avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kreisi is not content to let Father control the position. Father scoring with punches and elbows. Kreisi takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kreisi sneaks back into half guard. Father is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Father is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kreisi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Father. Kreisi actively working from the bottom here. Kreisi is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Father scoring with strikes to the body and head. Kreisi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Father landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Father moves into full mount! Kreisi won't be happy about that! Kreisi is looking to improve his position but Father isn't that keen on the idea. Kreisi keeps trying to improve his position. Kreisi is still trying to improve position. Father with a couple of short strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Father lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Whack. That's a big, big shot from Father! Kreisi is out cold! This one is all over!

Stephoune Father was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
