The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black Cat's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Black Cat duly obliges.
Engel takes a swing at Black Cat's ribcage but misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Black Cat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Engel is looking to clinch.
Billy Black Cat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black Cat throws a nice looking combination but Engel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Engel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Engel uses his free foot to push down on Black Cat's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Black Cat.
