Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Ghost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Chandler!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler lands a really nice looking cross but Ghost seems unphased.
Ghost fails to land the takedown.
Ghost shoots in looking for a takedown but Chandler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ghost's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ghost fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Ghost. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ghost tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Chandler moves into the clinch.

Ghost tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chandler's elbow.

Ghost has Chandler pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chandler manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Chandler has closed the distance and engaged Ghost in a clinch.
Chandler tries to land knees in the clinch but Ghost avoids the damage to the body.

Chandler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chandler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ghost circles away quickly and effectively.
Chandler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Chandler stops a takedown attempt from Ghost.
Ghost gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ghost stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Chandler works over Ghost's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Lucas Ghost has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chandler throws a right hand that Ghost ducks under and follows up with a left that Ghost also avoids with ease.

Chandler lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ghost has a takedown stuffed.
Nice takedown defense from Chandler. No joy for Ghost on that attempt.
Chris Chandler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ghost goes for a takedown in the clinch but Chandler prevents it.

Chandler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chandler moves into range and clinches up with Ghost.
Chandler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ghost fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ghost shoots in looking for a takedown. Chandler tries to sprawl out of it but Ghost keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chandler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Chandler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Chandler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ghost shoots in but Chandler avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Chandler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Chandler jabs Ghost to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ghost takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Ghost shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chandler sprawls well. Chandler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ghost gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Chandler defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ghost.
Chandler darts in and clinches Ghost up against the cage.
Ghost has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Chandler is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ghost's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Chandler lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Ghost has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Chandler avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ghost wants to clinch up but Chandler keeps it at a distance.
Lucas Ghost is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chandler works Ghost's body with a nice hook.
Chris Chandler seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Oooooh!!! Chandler has knocked Ghost down with a huge combo! Chandler steps away and waves a wobbly Ghost back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Ghost is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
