Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xiahou Dun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Beckett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dun comes to the cage accompanied by Otto Dix - Antichrist. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xiahou Dun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Beckett!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Dun misses.
Beckett throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Dun has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Beckett.
Dun lands a nice leg kick that just misses Beckett's sensitive parts.
Beckett fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Beckett shoots in for a takedown but Dun shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Beckett throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Dun walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Beckett shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dun's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Beckett has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dun finds it's way round the side to connect with Beckett's head.

Beckett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dun chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Beckett can pounce on him.

and Beckett counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dun's guard now.
Beckett postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Beckett wants to control from the top but Dun keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dun bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Beckett's guard.

Well Beckett has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
