Popov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tupac - Last Muthafucka Breathin'. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vitali Popov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Escobar Orozco!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orozco waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Popov.
Jab by Orozco.
Popov lands with an uppercut that bounces Orozco off the cage and back into range.
Popov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Orozco feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Popovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Orozco looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Orozco gets caught napping as Popov dives in and scores a takedown. Orozco manages to retain guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Popov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Popov goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Orozco rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Popov's guard! Nice work there by Orozco!

Popov is looking to cinch up a triangle. Orozco throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Popov's body to avoid the submission. Popov has instead reached around Orozco's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Popov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
