And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dexter Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badridge takes a jab right on the kisser.
No joy there for Badridge, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Badridge tries to close the distance and clinch but Morgan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Badridge checks the leg kick nicely there.
Badridge misses with a left hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Badridge tries to bum rush Morgan with a series of wild strikes but Morgan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Badridge connects with a nice looking jab.
Morgan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Badridge.
Morgan misses the shot to the body.
Morgan connects with a leg kick. Badridge looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Badridge tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Morgan scores with a jab. Badridge acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Morgan connects with a looping right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Badridge lands a jab-cross combination.
Badridge is looking to clinch but Morgan is avoiding it.

Morgan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Badridge doesn't seem bothered though.

Morgan throws a knee to the head but misses.
Morgan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Morgan breaks from the clinch.
Morgan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Badridge scores with a hook.
Badridge blocks a low kick nicely.
Badridge swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Morgan.
Morgan throws a leg kick which misses Badridge's front leg but catches the back leg as Badridge tries to avoid it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Badridge tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morgan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Badridge avoids the body shot from Morgan.
Morgan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Badridge.
Badridge misses with an uppercut
letting Morgan counter with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Badridge works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Morgan thumps Badridge with a low kick.
Badridge swinging wildly here.
Badridge uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Morgan.
Morgan keeps Badridge at a distance using the push kick.
Morgan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A solid body kick from Morgan.
Badridge is breathing heavily.
Morgan tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A right-left combo lands from Morgan.
Badridge wants to clinch up but Morgan keeps it at a distance.
Morgan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Badridge.

Badridge misses the shot to the body.
Badridge missing with a left hand there. Morgan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A cross from Morgan lands.
Morgan cracks the inside of Badridge's front leg.
Morgan loads up on a big right hand but Badridge slips the punch.
Badridge misses with a few strikes there.
Badridge throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Morgan counters with a solid body kick.
Good leg kick by Morgan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morgan drops Badridge with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Badridge looks back up at him and smiles so Morgan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Badridge is rocked!
Morgan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Badridge's calf.
Morgan scores with a nice body kick.

Morgan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Badridge sprawling to the canvas! Badridge rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Morgan finish him?!
Oh Badridge is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Morgan fakes the body blow, causing Badridge to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Badridge goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dexter Morgan!
After winning the bout, Dexter Morgan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
