The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Searlas stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Searlas dives in and grabs Willis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Willis pushes down on Searlas's head and hops out.

Searlas drives through with a takedown into Willis's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The cut above Rico Willis's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Searlas shoots in for a takedown but Willis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Steve Searlas is winning the standup battle so far.
Willis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Searlas swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Searlas lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Searlas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Willis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Steve Searlas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Searlas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Willis has momentary wrist control but Searlas slips an elbow through the middle.

Searlas is working Willis over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.


Rico Willis's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rico Willis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Steve Searlas!
