The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Krieger paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shamrock throws a right hand that Krieger ducks under and follows up with a left that Krieger also avoids with ease.
Shamrock misses with a two punch combination.
Krieger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Shamrock is looking to get to half guard.
Krieger avoids the attempt from Shamrock to control.
Krieger looking to finish Shamrock with some ground and pound. This is bad for Shamrock!
Shamrock tries to hold on but Krieger pushes him away.
Shamrock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krieger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shamrock tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shamrock can do anything to dispel that myth.
Krieger lands a big shot there that rocks Shamrock but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shamrock is trying to stand.
Krieger landing strikes from the mount.
Krieger blocks Shamrock's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Krieger working the ground and pound effectively.
Shamrock is rocked!
It looks like Ken Shamrock has been cut.
Krieger connects with a bit shot that sees Shamrock covering up! More strikes from Shamrock and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Krieger is our winner by TKO!
