Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Greg Stan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osmo Keinänen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Greg Stan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Osmo Keinänen!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stan swats away the attempt to clinch by Keinänen.
Stan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Keinänen shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Stan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Stan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Stan postures up in Keinänen's guard and throws a big left but Keinänen blocks it.
Keinänen is trying to control the position but Stan postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Keinänen working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stan.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Keinänen has his foot on Stan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stan works his way back into a safe position though.

Keinänen trying to keep a closed guard but Stan is proving a slippery customer.
Stan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Stan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Keinänen keeping moving, preventing Stan from controlling successfully.
Keinänen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stan stands up over Keinänen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stan throws an elbow that misses. Keinänen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stan's guard. Nice move by Keinänen!
Keinänen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Stan to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Keinänen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Stan pulls down on the head and he's put Keinänen to sleep! This one is all over!
