Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Caldwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Beam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beam is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hollywood Undead - Everywhere I Go. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Caldwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Beam! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caldwell shoots in and bounces Beam off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Caldwell showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Beam can do anything to dispel that myth. Caldwell decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Beam tries to clinch there but Caldwell circles away.
Beam throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Caldwell. Beam lands a nice looking body kick. Caldwell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beam as he jumps to the side. Beam drives through and clinches with Caldwell against the cage.

Beam creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Caldwell's defenses.
It looks like Jimmy Caldwell has been cut. Caldwell tries to break the clinch but Beam is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caldwell throws a punch but it's blocked by Beam. Beam lands an elbow inside that Caldwell shrugs off. Beam unloads a knee to the mid-section. Caldwell lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Beam lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Caldwell tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Beam's elbow. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Beam takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Caldwell working aggressively here.
Beam's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Beam, right into the meat.

Beam tries to clinch up. Beam scores with a head kick.
This has been an exciting period of action! Caldwell just misses with a punch to the body.
Caldwell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Beam defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Caldwell. Caldwell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beam was well out of range. Poor timing from Caldwell. Beam tries to clinch up but Caldwell circles away and keeps his distance. Jim Beam is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caldwell fails in his attempt to clinch. Caldwell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Beam manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Beam lands a head kick. Caldwell smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Beam lands with a slapping head kick.
Caldwell is rocked! Beam has Caldwell up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Caldwell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Beam breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Caldwell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Caldwell seems to have got his legs back now. Caldwell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Beam has taken the fight to the clinch.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Beam scores with an uppercut up the middle. Caldwell is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caldwell can't break the clinch.
Caldwell is trying to break the clinch but Beam has him pressed against the cage. Beam is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Beam breaks the clinch.
Caldwell throws a right and a left that both miss. Beam wants to clinch. Caldwell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Caldwell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beam slips a jab and a cross from Caldwell.
Beam moves in looking to clinch but Caldwell pushes him off. Caldwell shoots in and bounces Beam off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Caldwell won't allow Beam to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caldwell decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Caldwell throws a body punch but Beam moves out of range. Beam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Caldwell shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Beam defends it nicely. Caldwell shoots in and drives through. Beam sprawls well. Caldwell is trying hard to land a takedown here. Beam sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beam stuffs the takedown. Caldwell takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Caldwell is breathing heavily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Caldwell takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Beam moves into the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Beam. Caldwell struggles to land a body shot inside as Beam controls his hands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Beam dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jimmy Caldwell's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Caldwell gets tackled into the cage by Beam. Beam maintains the clinch. Beam manages to break the clinch.
Beam tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Caldwell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beam as he avoids it easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Beam looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Beam fails with an attempt to clinch.
Caldwell takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Beam wants to clinch up but Caldwell keeps it at a distance.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Beam has taken the fight to the clinch.
Beam connects with a knee to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Beam lands a right hand that snaps the head of Caldwell backwards. Beam manages to break the clinch.
Beam pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Caldwell drops his hands momentarily and Beam needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Caldwell just on the top of the head. Caldwell drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Caldwell - he's done!
