Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams blocks a jab.
Doherty looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Adams is fending him off so far but Doherty persists. Nope, Adams circles away and we're back to standing.
Doherty misses with a right hand
and Adams counters with a right hand to the body.
Doherty finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Doherty throws a right hand that misses
and Adams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A jab lands there for Adams.
Nice jab there from Adams.
Doherty is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Doherty throws a lazy right hand but Adams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Adams blocks a jab.
Doherty closes the distance and clinches up with Adams, looking for a takedown. Doherty pushes Adams against the cage but Adams circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Doherty misses with an uppercut
and Adams counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Doherty takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Adams drops Doherty with a beautiful combination! Doherty stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Adams is looking for the KO!
Oh Doherty is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Adams scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Doherty doesn't seem bothered though.
Doherty is breathing heavily.
Adams lands with a hook. Doherty tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Doherty shoots in for a takedown but Adams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Doherty. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Adams connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Doherty to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Adams!
