Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vviktung Bolski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlo Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rossi has chosen Vatican Anthem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Vviktung Bolski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rossi manages to avoid it.
Rossi scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Bolski just misses with a punch to the body.
Bolski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rossi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bolski somewhat.
Bolski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rossi.
Bolski shoots in for a double leg but Rossi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bolski takes a swing at Rossi's ribcage but misses.
Bolski misses the shot to the body.
Rossi misses with a two punch combination.

Rossi feints a jab promting Bolski to slip. Rossi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bolski slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Rossi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bolski.
Rossi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bolski.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vviktung Bolski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bolski looks to score with a jab to the body but Rossi is just out of range.
Rossi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Bolski tries to bum rush Rossi with a series of wild strikes but Rossi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bolski ducks under a wild hook from Rossi.
Bolski with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rossi to score with a decent uppercut.

Bolski closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rossi quickly recovers to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rossi has hold of Bolski's hands but Bolski slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Bolski throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bolski works his foot free and advances to mount.

Bolski lands a couple of good shots and Rossi has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Rossi is taking damage to the body and head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rossi grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Bolski has Rossi flattened out and is raining down punches.
Bolski scores with punches to the body.
Bolski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bolski lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Bolski is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Rossi has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Bolski has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Rossi taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Bolski doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Vviktung Bolski!
Vviktung Bolski decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
