The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Georgijevic walks forward, straight into a front kick from Nowak.
Georgijevic stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nowak.
Michal Nowak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nowak lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Vojislav Georgijevic has been cut.
Georgijevic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Georgijevic shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nowak napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Georgijevic wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nowak, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Georgijevic has control of Nowak's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nowak regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That kick from Nowak tenderised Georgijevic's leg. Georgijevic is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nowak feints and then cracks Georgijevic's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Georgijevic down.
Nowak throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Georgijevic is trying to drag Nowak to the mat but Nowak just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
