The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lyles manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hardy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lyles is keeping the position for now.
Hardy passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Lyles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hardy has hold of Lyles's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lyles seems comfortable defending it but Hardy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lyles is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lyles is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hardy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
