Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Razor Bush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jj Mcgarry! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bush doesn't manage to clinch there - Mcgarry circles away.
Razor Bush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bush shoots in and drives through. Mcgarry sprawls well. Bush changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcgarry looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Mcgarry is trying to get back to half guard. Bush landing strikes. Bush scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mcgarry to see if he's OK. Mcgarry is looking to reverse the position. Bush cracks Mcgarry with a big elbow. Bush tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mcgarry takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Jj Mcgarry has been cut. Mcgarry is trying to control Bush's posture but Bush avoids it. Mcgarry tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bush wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Mcgarry is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bush off and has taken his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bush trying to control the position but Mcgarry manages to sink in the hooks. Mcgarry is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Bush taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Mcgarry.
