Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Rexar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Gornev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rexar comes to the cage accompanied by Big Shit Poppin'. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gornev's choice of entrance music: gladiator -magnum. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ivan Gornev enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gornev scores with a push kick.
Gornev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gornev throws a combination. Rexar tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Tyler Rexar has been cut.
Gornev scores with a one two! Rexar had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Gornev tries to bum rush Rexar with a series of wild strikes but Rexar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rexar takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gornev throws a series of punches but Rexar moves out of range.
Gornev pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gornev misses with a head kick.

Gornev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rexar moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gornev blocks the body kick.
Gornev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gornev lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

and Rexar counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gornev's guard now.

Rexar stops Gornev from standing up.
Gornev keeping full guard, as Rexar tries to pass.
Rexar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Rexar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gornev works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rexar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rexar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rexar is looking to advance position but Gornev has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Rexar wants to hold on but Gornev pushes him away.

The referee warns Rexar that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Rexar keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Gornev throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Rexar wants to control but Gornev is having none of it.

Rexar is desperately trying to improve his position but Gornev has a good base and remains in mount.

Gornev scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gornev looking to ground and pound but Rexar is blocking nicely.
Rexar is trying desperately to improve position.
Gornev lands with some strikes.
Rexar is in a horrible position here. Gornev smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Gornev cracks Rexar with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gornev in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Oh Rexar is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gornev lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gornev postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Rexar bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Gornev and the fight is over!
