Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith leaves Alkofer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Alkofer shoots in and gets a takedown into Smith's guard.
Alkofer advances to half guard.
Alkofer trying to mount his opponent but Smith defends it.
Alkofer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Smith defends it well.
Smith has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Alkofer is working away from the top position though.
Smith looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Alkofer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Alkofer works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Alkofer has control of Smith's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Smith regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Alkofer looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Alkofer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Smith to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Smith shrugs it off.
Smith is trying desperately to improve position.
Alkofer is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Smith is forced to tap! Great finish!
