Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Lytle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jizzy Krup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Lytle is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Lytle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jizzy Krup!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Lytle - that will leave a mark!
Krup looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lytle is fending him off so far but Krup persists. Nope, Lytle circles away and we're back to standing.

Lytle tries to sprawl but Krup drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Krup is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lytle sees it coming and defends easily.
Krup not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Lytle looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

It looks like Krup is going to stand back up.
Krup scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Krup wants to stand up but Lytle has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Krup has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lytle avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Krup has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lytle is trying to keep an underhook but Krup manages to get the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Lytle throws a body punch but Krup moves out of range.

Krup looking to score a takedown here. Lytle is defending well but Krup drives through and ends up in Lytle's guard.
Krup lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Lytle working for a triangle but Krup defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Krup wants to stand but Lytle has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Lytle is looking for a triangle but Krup pushes his legs off easily.
Krup slips nicely into half guard.
Krup prevents Lytle from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lytle tries to roll over but Krup keeps him under control.

Krup slips a nice elbow through Lytle's hands, connecting with Lytle's forehead.
Krup is looking to take a break and control but Lytle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Krup frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Krup tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Krup connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Krup can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lytle is looking to escape.
Lytle can't escape the position.
Krup is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Krup is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lytle can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Krup cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Lytle is wriggling around trying to escape.
Oh Lytle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
You get the feeling that Lytle really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Krup is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Lytle seems to have got his legs back now.
Lytle is in a horrible position here. Krup smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Krup wants to get back to his feet but Lytle is holding on tight.
Lytle is desperately trying to improve his position but Krup has a good base and remains in mount.
Krup tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

Krup working for a submission but Lytle is keeping him at bay.
Lytle is in a horrible position here. Krup smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Krup wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lytle keeps working.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Lytle wants to control but Krup postures up.
Lytle tries to bench press Krup off him but Krup keeps the position.
Krup works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Krup wants to stand but Lytle is controlling his arm.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lytle tries to buck Krup off but Krup is having none of it.

Krup decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lytle to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jizzy Krup showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Krup shoots in and drives through. Lytle sprawls well.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lytle!
Krup slips a jab and a cross from Lytle.
Lytle swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Krup.
Krup misses with a takedown attempt - Lytle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lytle displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Krup changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lytle tries to avoid it but Krup manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lytle to the ground. Lytle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
James Lytle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jizzy Krup.
Lytle throws a series of strikes that have Krup backpedaling.

Lytle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Krup to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Krup got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lytle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Krup has managed to get both his arms back between Lytle's legs - danger averted.

Krup drops back looking for a leg! Lytle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lytle manages to kick Krup off! Krup jumps back into Lytle's guard.

Lytle has his foot on Krup's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Krup works his way back into a safe position though.

Jizzy Krup is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Krup seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lytle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jizzy Krup hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lytle throws a combination that misses

and Krup counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Krup is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lytle is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
