Robertson comes to the cage accompanied by Marvelous Me . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sterling Slater!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slater gets a takedown into half guard.
Robertson keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Slater lands a nice short elbow.

Slater throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Slater lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Robertson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Slater pulls his head out easily.

Slater wants to stand but Robertson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Slater is working for a submission of some sort.
Slater passes the guard and advances to mount!
Robertson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Robertson won't allow Slater to sweep him here.
Slater is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Robertson is controlling him.
Slater looking to hit a scissor sweep but Robertson is one step ahead there.

Robertson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Slater is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Slater has escaped and now he's on top!

Slater is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Robertson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Slater defends well.
Slater scoring with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slater lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Robertson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Slater is aware though and is defending well.

Robertson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Slater defends it easily.
Slater lands a couple of digs.
Slater postures up and lands a big shot to Robertson's brow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slater stands up over Robertson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Slater has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Robertson is proving hard to escape from.

Robertson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Robertson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Slater passes into side control.
Robertson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Slater in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Robertson looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Slater turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
