The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Peters. That did some damage!

Peters swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tyler cracks a nice hook into Peters's ribs.
Peters tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tyler swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Johnny Tyler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Peters is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Tyler frees his head nicely. Oh but Peters has switched to an armbar! Tyler is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

In his post fight interview, Andy Peters started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
