The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Malone there.
Malone scores with a jab to the jaw.
Malone digs a good body shot into Anderson's ribs.
Anderson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Malone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Anderson.
Malone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anderson sprawls well initially but Malone persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Malone is thwarting Anderson's attempts to control the position.
Malone is trying to control. Anderson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Malone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Anderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Malone is working away from the top position though.
Malone is taking a breather. Anderson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Anderson tries to get to full guard but Malone has control of the leg.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Malone is trying for a kimura here. Anderson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Malone wins by kimura!
