Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earl Bertane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bertane comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Above The Law. McGregor has chosen Bloc Party - Flux as his entrance music. Charlie McGregor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Bertane.
McGregor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bertane. That did some damage!
Bertane moves in looking to clinch but McGregor pushes him off.
McGregor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McGregor looks for the body kick but Bertane saw that one coming.
McGregor leaves Bertane with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McGregor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bertane moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bertane shoots and misses
and McGregor counters with a slapping leg kick.
Earl Bertane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGregor misses with a low kick.
Bertane shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Earl Bertane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGregor looks to land a combination but Bertane avoids it well.
No joy there for McGregor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGregor lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Bertane sprawling to the canvas. McGregor follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Bertane hang on?

Bertane has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McGregor is working away from the top position though.
Bertane is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McGregor's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McGregor's back!

This has been an exciting period of action!
McGregor tries to lock up and control but Bertane gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGregor is squirming around, avoiding Bertane's attempts to control the action.
Bertane moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, McGregor has worked his arm free - good work by McGregor!
Bertane working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bertane wants to control for a moment but McGregor uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

McGregor is looking for a sweep. Bertane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bertane wants to control but McGregor is keeping him busy.

McGregor is concentrating on defense, preventing Bertane from advancing position.

Bertane thows a huge punch but McGregor dodges it nicely.
McGregor is defending against the submission attempts here by Bertane.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bertane looks to land a strike but McGregor avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bertane shoots in but McGregor avoids the takedown attempt easily.

letting McGregor counter with a right hand.
McGregor is looking to score with low kicks.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bertane checks a leg kick.
Bertane shoots in and drives through. McGregor sprawls well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bertane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McGregor swivels and escapes.
Bertane gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McGregor comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Bertane stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but McGregor is on him like rabid pit bull! Bertane slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
