Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kent Phillips!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Gniewomir Polaniecki!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips swings widly with a right hand
and Polaniecki counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Phillips checks a leg kick.
Polaniecki scores with a nice body kick.
A jab from Phillips misses.
Phillips avoids a kick to the body.
Phillips throws a head kick that misses.
That kick from Polaniecki tenderised Phillips's leg. Phillips is trying to keep his angry face on.
Polaniecki throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Phillips ducks under a wild hook from Polaniecki.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Gniewomir Polaniecki was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Polaniecki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Phillips has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Polaniecki is defended easily by Phillips.
Phillips fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Phillips crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Polaniecki - the referee stops the clock and Phillips gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Polaniecki. Phillips manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Polaniecki wants to control from the top but Phillips keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Phillips throws out a loose jab but Polaniecki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Polaniecki connects with a leg kick. Phillips looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Phillips is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Phillips throws a looping overhand right but Polaniecki ducks down to avoid it.
Phillips throws the kick towards the body but Polaniecki avoids it.

Phillips just misses with a punch to the body.
An inside leg kick from Polaniecki misses.
Polaniecki scores with a punch to the head.
Polaniecki lunges at Phillips with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Phillips's hand.


Phillips is rocked!
Polaniecki lands an uppercut, right on the button! Phillips tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gniewomir Polaniecki!
During a confident post fight interview, Gniewomir Polaniecki thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Kent Phillips stepped up to the mic, saying 'Respect to my opponent for winning the fight... I'm thinking about going on retire!'.
