Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alec New (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nolan Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alec New! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nolan Sackett! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sackett slaps away a takedown attempt from New, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nolan Sackett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sackett fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with New, pushing him back against the cage. Good body shot from Sackett.
Sackett scores with an uppercut up the middle. New's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A short body shot lands from Sackett as the two fighters clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sackett - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Sackett breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sackett rushes New and presses him up against the cage. New tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sackett just stands there and leans against the cage. Sackett taking a breather. Sackett breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sackett takes the fight into the clinch. Sackett throws a blind hook that connects with the side of News head. Sackett lands a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sackett has New pressed against the cage, preventing New from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Sackett just leaning against New, taking a breather. New tries to break the clinch but Sackett is controlling the position. Sackett scores with a shoulder strike. Sackett is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Sackett is working New over against the cage. New is breathing heavily. Sackett pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sackett tries to clinch but New moves out of range. Sackett moves into the clinch successfully.

A short uppercut from Sackett. This has been an exciting period of action! Sackett scores with an uppercut up the middle.
New is rocked!
It looks like Alec New has been cut. Sackett breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Oh New is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sackett tries to clinch but New moves out of range. Sackett clinches up against the cage. Sackett breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sackett fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with New, pushing him back against the cage. New seems to have got his legs back now. Sackett breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The fight stays on the outside here - Sackett looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sackett closes the distance and clinches. Sackett lands with a left to the head. Sackett pressing his opponent against the cage. New is trying to break the clinch but Sackett has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sackett is pushing New up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Sackett lands a shoulder strike. A battle for position here, against the cage. Sackett breaks from the clinch.
Sackett moves in looking to clinch but New pushes him off. Sackett gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short right from Sackett. Sackett breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

New falls back against the cage and Sackett unloads with a barrage of strikes! New is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sackett screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nolan Sackett!
