Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinoda Kami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Milenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Milenko! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milenko misses with a straight left. Milenko leaves Kami with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Milenko thows a body shot but no joy. Milenko stuffs the takedown attempt from Kami. Kami gets slowly back to his feet. Kami closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Milenko quickly recovers to half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kami winds up and cracks Milenko with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Milenko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Milenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kami. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kami thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Milenko is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Kami wants to stand up but Milenko has a hold of him and won't allow it. Milenko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kami controlling the action here. Kami wants to lay and pray for a moment but Milenko keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Milenko wants to control but Kami is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kami seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Milenko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Shinoda Kami. Milenko connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Shinoda Kami has been cut. Kami shoots in looking for a takedown. Milenko tries to sprawl out of it but Kami keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Milenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinoda Kami. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kami shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Milenko defends it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Milenko slaps away a takedown attempt from Kami, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kami gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Milenko lands with a nice body punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kami misses with a few strikes there.

Kami shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Milenko pinned against the ropes. Milenko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kami walks into a left hand. A punch lands to the side of Kami 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kami walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Shinoda Kami's cut is getting worse. Milenko has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
That's six minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Milenko drops Kami with a naaaaasty hook - Kami is in real trouble here! Milenko dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Milenko! Eddie Milenko is the new heavyweight champion!
