Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuro Ouji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kuro Ouji! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcus Williams! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams throws a series of punches but Ouji avoids them all with ease. Williams lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Williams. Ouji doesn't succeed with the takedown and Williams counters with a left and a right that stings Ouji. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Williams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ouji. A shot to the liver by Williams. Beautiful body shot. Ouji has taken the fight to the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Williams's face as he tries to break the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ouji takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Ouji jumps guard.
Williams with a flurry of punches that miss. Williams throws a strike but Ouji rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Ouji makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ouji won't allow Williams to get back to his feet. Ouji controls from within his opponent's guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ouji wants to get up but he can't break Williams's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ouji. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams wants to get back to his feet but Ouji is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ouji working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Ouji lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Williams has a closed guard, preventing Ouji from standing up. Ouji trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. Williams is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ouji is controlling him. Ouji controls from within his opponent's guard. Ouji lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Williams is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ouji lands a couple of elbows. Ouji works over Williams with some ground and pound from guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Ouji connects with a couple of short punches. Ouji might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ouji sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ouji trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Williams wants to stand up but Ouji is controlling him. Ouji wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kuro Ouji wasn't doing enough on the ground. Williams slips a jab and a cross from Ouji.
Williams connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Williams misses with a wild combination.
Ouji tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ouji changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but Ouji manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Williams throws a series of punches but Ouji moves out of range. Nice jab there from Williams. Kuro Ouji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ouji is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ouji moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Williams misses with a wild combination.
Ouji walks into a stiff left hand from Williams. Ouji tries for a takedown but Williams circles away easily and Williams counters with a series of strikes. Ouji will be more careful next time no doubt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kuro Ouji. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ouji walks straight into a right hand from Williams - that's dropped him! Williams jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ouji from any more punishment! Ouji complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
