Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stephen Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, George Elokobi!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Anderson moves out of range of the strikes.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Elokobi as he avoids it easily.
Elokobi moves into the clinch.
Elokobi managing to block the knees to the body from Anderson.
Elokobi wants a takedown.
Anderson trying to control the position but instead, Elokobi has worked for underhooks and has pushed Anderson into the cage.
Elokobi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Anderson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Elokobi tries to score a body lock takedown but Anderson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Stephen Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Elokobi.
Anderson is trying to maintain a safe position but Elokobi gets an underhook and turns Anderson into the cage.
Elokobi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Anderson after a bit of a struggle.
Anderson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Elokobi lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Anderson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Elokobi is defending well. Anderson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Elokobi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Anderson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
