Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moe Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curt Conrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Long Kiss Goodnight. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Moe Evans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Curt Conrad! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Conrad! Evans has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Conrad! Evans controlling from mount. Evans can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Conrad is looking to escape. Conrad is bucking up trying to escape but Evans cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Evans tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Evans scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conrad is trying desperately to improve position. Evans sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Conrad is looking to improve his position but Evans isn't that keen on the idea. Evans controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans is in the full mount, landing strikes. Evans controlling from mount. Conrad is bucking up trying to escape but Evans cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Evans trying to control but Conrad is having none of it. Conrad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Evans. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Evans lands a big shot there that rocks Conrad but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Evans working for a guillotine from mount but Conrad is in no mood to give up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans content just to control the position here. Evans punishing his opponent with strikes. Evans controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Evans tries to control but Conrad wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conrad wants to hold on but Evans pushes him away. Evans has hold of Conrad's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Conrad manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Evans jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Conrad manages to avoid the submission attempt. Evans remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moe Evans dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Evans keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Conrad lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Evans circles away quickly and effectively. Evans defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Conrad. Conrad tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Evans gets in close and instigates a clinch. Conrad jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Evans walks away with a smile on his face. Conrad gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Moe Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Curt Conrad. Evans throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Conrad's waist but Conrad gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Evans off to one side. Evans rushes Conrad and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Conrad breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Conrad fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Evans sprawls well initially but Conrad persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Evans desperately trying to maintain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conrad is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Evans manages to escape and get back to his feet! Evans moves into the clinch. Evans manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Evans is adopting a defensive guard. Conrad trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Evans lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Conrad!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans tries to control but Conrad wriggling away. Evans wants to stand but Conrad is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Conrad wants to control but Evans is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Evans content just to control the position here. Conrad can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moe Evans dominated that second round. That's time! Evans's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Conrad. Conrad lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Moe Evans has been cut. Conrad gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Evans counters with a right hand to the body. Evans fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Evans shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Conrad as he jumps to the side. No luck for Evans with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moe Evans. That's going to take a lot out of him. Conrad tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Evans paws at him with a jab and circles away. Conrad fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Evans has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Conrad swats away the attempt to clinch by Evans.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Evans is stalling in the full guard. Conrad trying to control the position.
Evans thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Evans won't allow Conrad to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conrad trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Conrad is striking but Evans is not phased and passes to half guard. Conrad trying to control here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Conrad can do anything to dispel that myth. Evans trying to control the pace. Conrad is in trouble now - Evans has advanced to mount! Evans avoids the attempt from Conrad to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans controlling his opponent. Evans is in the full mount, landing strikes. Evans scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Conrad?
Evans is landing with some decent strikes but Conrad is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Conrad can't escape the position.
Conrad takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Evans sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Evans seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Conrad for as long as he can get away with. Conrad is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Moe Evans showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Evans, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
