Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kullervo Pelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pelli comes into the arena with Juha Vainio - Nakkila blaring out of the sound system. Kowalski has chosen Reptile Theme as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski looks to land a combination but Pelli avoids it well.
Kowalski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kowalski on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Pelli showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kowalski.
Pelli slips a jab from Kowalski.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pelli.
Kowalski misses with a combination
enabling Pelli to counter with a crisp jab.
Pelli fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Roman Kowalski has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kowalski looks to throw the jab but Pelli is out of range.
Pelli closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kowalski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pelli.
No joy there for Pelli, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pelli uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kowalski.
Kowalski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pelli paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pelli cracks Kowalski with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pelli has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kowalski to stand back up!
Kowalski is rocked!
Pelli keeps the fight on the outside.
Pelli fakes the body blow, causing Kowalski to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Kowalski goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kullervo Pelli!
