Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soa Palelei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Thor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palelei kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Miracle - We Ain't Scared. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Thor takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Thor circles away from the clinch attempt
and Thor counters with a right hand to the body.
Thor misses with a hook. Palelei ducked under it nicely.
Palelei swings for the body but Thor moves out of range.
Thor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Palelei.
Thor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Palelei doesn't seem bothered though.
Hans Thor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thor connects with a good right hand that stumbles Palelei. Palelei circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Thor looks to land a combination but Palelei avoids it well.

Palelei takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Palelei lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Hans Thor has been cut.
Palelei on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Palelei tries to close the distance and clinch but Thor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thor lands a lovely overhand right.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Palelei.

Thor fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Palelei is rocked!
Palelei drops his hands momentarily and Thor needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Palelei just on the top of the head. Palelei drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Palelei - he's done!
