Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ash Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Mix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mix pulls Williams in close to his closed guard and prevents Williams from doing any damage or advancing position.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Mix is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ash Williams just wasn't active enough.
Mix rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams wants to clinch.

Williams shoots in but no luck this time.
Williams dives in and grabs Mix's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mix pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.
Mix scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mix throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ethan Mix is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Williams jumps guard but Mix turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Mix is trying to force a seperation but Williams has the dominant position.
Williams tries to throw a body punch but Mix avoids it by throwing Williams back against the cage.
Williams tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mix wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mix pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Williams looks for the body kick but Mix saw that one coming.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Williams changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mix fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mix throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Williams stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

He turns his back on Mix, trying to create some distance but Mix rushes him, striking wildly and Williams goes down! The referee tackles Mix into the cage to end the fight! Mix is one violent man!
