8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bradford Whitley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anton Chekhov! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whitley ducks right into an uppercut from Chekhov. Whitley misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Chekhov makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Whitley misses with a hook
letting Chekhov counter with a right hand.
It looks like Bradford Whitley has been cut. Whitley misses with the body kick and Chekhov counters with a lovely straight right hand! Chekhov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Chekhov closes the distance and pushes Whitley back into the cage. Whitley misses with a punch on the inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chekhov struggles to land a body shot inside as Whitley controls his hands.
Whitley blocks a body shot from Chekhov. Whitley misses with a hook to the ribs.
Chekhov lands with a light punch inside.
Whitley is rocked! Chekhov creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Whitley's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Whitley drops to his knees and Chekhov pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anton Chekhov! A relieved looking Anton Chekhov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
