Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Nazarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nazarov comes to the cage accompanied by "Fade to Black" by Metallica. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks for a takedown but Nazarov sprawls well.
Tony Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vadim Nazarov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Brown.
The crowd cheers as Nazarov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brown doesn't seem phased though.

Brown shoots in but Nazarov avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Nazarov misses with an uppercut. Brown saw that one coming.
Nazarov misses the shot to the body.
Nazarov swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.

Brown takes one to the side of the head.
Nazarov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Brown swings around for an armbar but Nazarov sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Brown's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nazarov manages to get himself to full guard.
Nazarov has his hands on Brown's head, controlling the position.

Brown postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nazarov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brown, into his guard.

Brown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nazarov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nazarov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Brown controls Nazarov momentarily but Nazarov frees himself.

Nazarov passes Brown's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Nazarov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brown has gone for a leg lock! Nazarov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brown's guard.

Brown pushes a forearm under Nazarov's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Nazarov is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
