Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Sawyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Sawyer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Askren!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Sawyer!

Sawyer scores with a hook to the body. Askren takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sawyer shoots for a double leg takedown but Askren sprawls well. He's pushed Sawyer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sawyer closes the distance and clinches up with Askren, looking for a takedown. Sawyer pushes Askren against the cage but Askren circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Askren throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sawyer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Askren is in Sawyer's guard.
