Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roger Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maciej Jewtuszko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Roger Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Maciej Jewtuszko!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott just misses with a punch to the body.
Jewtuszko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Scott throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jewtuszko counters with a right hand to the body.
Scott throws a poor cross that misses
and Jewtuszko counters with a one-two to the body.
Scott swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jewtuszko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Roger Scott has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scott looks to score with a jab to the body but Jewtuszko is just out of range.
Scott misses with a right hand
and Jewtuszko counters with a nice uppercut.
Scott thows a body shot but no joy.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Scott.

Scott in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Scott is trying to get an arm triangle but Jewtuszko is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scott is breathing heavily.
Jewtuszko is trying to get back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The ground and pound from Scott seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Jewtuszko is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Scott asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Scott tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Scott creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jewtuszko sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Jewtuszko is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Scott tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scott has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jewtuszko is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Scott is controlling him well.
Jewtuszko bucks up and tries to throw Scott off but instead Scott has got his back!
Jewtuszko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Scott is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Jewtuszko is defending well though. Scott let's go of the attempt for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Roger Scott will probably get the nod.

That's time! Scott's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Scott looks to land a left hand but Jewtuszko moved out of range nicely.
Scott throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jewtuszko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Maciej Jewtuszko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Scott misses with a lunging right hand
and Jewtuszko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Scott fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Scott swings for the body but Jewtuszko moves out of range.
Scott throws a looping overhand right but Jewtuszko ducks down to avoid it.

Scott shoots in looking for a takedown but Jewtuszko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Scott's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Scott misses with a body shot
and Jewtuszko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Scott shoots in for a takedown but Jewtuszko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jewtuszko moves away from the strike by Scott.
Scott misses with a looping left.
Scott throws a looping overhand right but Jewtuszko ducks down to avoid it.

and Jewtuszko counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Scott misses with a takedown
and Jewtuszko counters with a three punch combo that has Scott backing up. Scott nods at Jewtuszko to acknowledge the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A telegraphed right hand from Scott misses the target.
Scott bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jewtuszko's head.
Scott throws a right hand that misses
and Jewtuszko counters with a nice body shot.
Jewtuszko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Scott looks to score with a jab to the body but Jewtuszko is just out of range.
Scott throws a hook to the side of Jewtuszko's head but Jewtuszko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A big left from Scott misses.
Scott closes the distance and clinches up with Jewtuszko, looking for a takedown. Scott pushes Jewtuszko against the cage but Jewtuszko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fighters circling - Scott throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Scott misses with a hook.
A looping hook to the body misses from Scott. Jewtuszko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Scott shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jewtuszko defends it nicely.

Scott is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jewtuszko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A jab from Scott misses.
Scott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jewtuszko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Scott somewhat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jewtuszko stuffs the takedown attempt from Scott. Scott gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maciej Jewtuszko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


The fighters circle momentarily. Scott darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Jewtuszko counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Scott thinking.

and Jewtuszko counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jewtuszko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Scott swings for the body but Jewtuszko moves out of range.

Scott misses with a takedown attempt - Jewtuszko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Maciej Jewtuszko seems to be getting the better of the standup.

and Jewtuszko counters with a crisp one two that drops Scott! Jewtuszko thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Scott to his feet! Scott is in big trouble!


Scott is rocked!
Roger Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Scott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jewtuszko pinned against the cage. Jewtuszko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Scott throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jewtuszko's waist but Jewtuszko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Scott off to one side.
Jewtuszko slips a straight right by Scott.
Scott swings for the body but Jewtuszko moves out of range.
Scott misses with a body shot
and Jewtuszko counters with a straight that turns Scott's legs to rubber! Jewtuszko pushes forward with more strikes and Scott goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
