Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Cunnings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunnings misses with a few strikes there.
Cunnings fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A lazy left from Cunnings finds it's target.

A jab from Wagner does it's job there.
Wagner bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cunnings's head.
Cunnings rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wagner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cunnings throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Wagner counters with a shoot takedown. Cunnings fights it but they end up in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wagner fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cunnings on the side of the head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wagner is keen to just control but Cunnings is a slippery customer.

Cunnings takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Cunnings is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wagner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cunnings throws out the jab.

A nice inside leg kick there by Wagner. That's going to slow Cunnings down.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cunnings crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wagner - the referee stops the clock and Cunnings gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wagner. Cunnings manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cunnings has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Wagner throws a quick head kick that knocks Cunnings silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Wagner is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
