The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Liam tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ali swivels and escapes.
A telegraphed right hand from Liam misses the target.
No luck for Liam with that takedown attempt.
Ali tries to sprawl but Liam drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ali controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Liam maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ali could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Liam has cracked it and Ali is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Liam!
