Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Nejman!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Yazawa, as that shot connected.


It looks like Danny Nejman has been cut.
Yazawa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Takeda Yazawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yazawa connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nejman momentarily.
Yazawa throws a right hand that misses
and Nejman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Yazawa throws a right hand that misses
and Nejman counters with a head kick. That will keep Yazawa thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A looping hook to the body misses from Yazawa. Nejman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yazawa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nejman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nejman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yazawa.
Yazawa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Yazawa moves into range and connects with a jab.
Nejman looks winded!
Yazawa throws out a loose jab but Nejman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Yazawa waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nejman.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yazawa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Yazawa drops Nejman with a beautiful combination! Nejman stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Yazawa is looking for the KO!


Nejman is rocked!
Takeda Yazawa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yazawa throws a pinpoint strike between Nejman's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Nejman crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Yazawa scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Takeda Yazawa!
A relieved looking Takeda Yazawa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
