Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Key comes into the arena with EYELID - REGENERATE blaring out of the sound system. Volkov has chosen The Trooper by Iron Maiden as his entrance music. Vincent Volkov is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Don Key! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 18 - 1, fighting out of London, Vincent Volkov! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Key looks to score with a jab to the body but Volkov is just out of range. Key tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Volkov takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Volkov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Key thows a body shot but no joy. Volkov throws a leg kick that is checked and Key counters with a thumping low kick. Key tries to clinch up but Volkov circles away and keeps his distance. Vincent Volkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Volkov feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Key's calf. Key doesn't manage to clinch there - Volkov circles away.
A punch combination from Volkov misses. Key lands with a nice body kick. Volkov tries to work over Key's front leg with a kick but Key checks it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Volkov walks into a jab. Volkov lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Volkov's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Volkov duly obliges. Volkov blocks the body kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Volkov. Key does a little dance to reset his feet. Volkov gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Key.
That's one minute gone in the round. A shot to the liver by Key. Beautiful body shot. Volkov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Volkov throwing shots but Key is blocking nicely. Key keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Key is looking for a sweep. Volkov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Key taking some punishment here, with Volkov in his half guard. Volkov controlling the action here. Key tries to get to full guard but Volkov has control of the leg. Volkov trying to control from half guard but Key is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Volkov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Key's head. Key moves into full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Volkov throwing strikes but missing. Volkov throws a big right hand that misses. Volkov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Volkov with a nice head shot there. Key is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Key's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Key bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Volkov's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Key stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Volkov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Volkov trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Volkov tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Key lands with a cross. Volkov scoring well with a low kick there.
Key lands a front kick. Key is looking to clinch. Key lands with a shot to the body. Key throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A cross from Key lands. Key throws a nice outside leg kick. A leg kick checked by Key. Volkov lands a leg kick that knocks Key off balance momentarily. Key fails with an attempt to clinch.
Volkov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Key tries to land a front kick but Volkov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Key moves into the clinch. Key tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Volkov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Key landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Key lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Volkov or not. Volkov looks winded! Key lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Volkov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Key lands a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Volkov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Key. Nice uppercut there from Key. Key takes a swing at Volkov's ribcage but misses. Jab by Key. Key thumps Volkov with a low kick. Volkov throws a hook to the side of Key's head but Key sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Key lands a leg kick that knocks Volkov off balance momentarily. A kick lands to the mid section there for Key. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A solid leg kick lands there for Key.
Volkov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Key checks it well. Key digs a good hook to Volkov's body.

Volkov is breathing heavily. Donk. Key catches Volkov right on the button with a cross. Volkov gets tackled into the cage by Key. Key maintains the clinch. Key lands a left hand.

Key unloads a knee to the mid-section. Key tries to throw a body punch but Volkov avoids it by throwing Key back against the cage. Still in the clinch, Key scores with a nice short uppercut. That's two minutes gone in the round. Key controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Key is looking to work some ground and pound but Volkov has wrist control. Key stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Volkov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Key advances to half guard. Volkov is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Key scores with a couple of nice shots. Key not landing any meaningful shots this time. Volkov regains full guard. Nicely done. Volkov keeping moving, preventing Key from controlling successfully. Key throwing strikes but missing. Key trying to control the position from guard on top but Volkov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Volkov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Key landing some decent shots from guard. Key trying to control but Volkov is working from the bottom. Key lands a couple of elbows. Key's corner is telling him to maintain position. Volkov looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Key is fighting to break Volkov's control of his arms but Volkov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Key tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Volkov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Key trying to keep a closed guard but Volkov is proving a slippery customer.
Key seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Key has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Key preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Volkov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Key can pounce on him.

It looks like Don Key has been cut. Volkov looks to throw the jab but Key is out of range. Volkov connects with an inside leg kick. Key tries to clinch up. Volkov lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Key pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A jab lands there for Key. Key feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Volkov's calf. Key lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Key fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Volkov manages to avoid it. Key is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Volkov can do to turn this around? Volkov throws a leg kick and Key counters with a good, hard body kick but Volkov shrugs it off. Volkov's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. A low kick from Volkov misses and Key counters with a nice leg kick. Volkov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Key feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Volkovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Key moves into the clinch successfully.

Key misses with a knee to the head. Key presses Volkov against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. A body shot lands from Key.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Key. Key unloads a knee to the mid-section. Volkov lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Key connects with a knee to the head.

Volkov is rocked! Key drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Volkov right on the button. Volkov goes down! Key follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Key gets the win via TKO!
