Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chung Quela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Quela might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Queen of the Rodeo. Carwin has chosen Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Chung Quela has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Chung Quela!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shane Carwin!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin punishes Quela's body with a nice straight punch.
Chung Quela seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quela misses with a low kick.
Quela walks into a straight right hand from Carwin.
A slow jab from Quela misses its intended target.
Donk. Quela catches Carwin right on the button with a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Quela takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Quela connects with a solid leg kick.
Quela is looking to land body kicks.
Carwin scores with a nice right hand.
Quela misses with a straight left.
Carwin cracks Quela with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A telegraphed right hand from Quela misses the target.
Carwin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Quela paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carwin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Quela.
Carwin throws a big shot that misses.
Carwin misses with a body shot.
Quela takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab lands there for Carwin.
Quela throws a looping overhand right but Carwin ducks down to avoid it.
Quela thows a left - swing and a miss!
Quela tests Carwin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Carwin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Carwin blocks a jab.
Quela throws a good cross that connects.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carwin doesn't manage to clinch there - Quela circles away.
Carwin tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A punch combination from Carwin misses.
Quela lands a really nice looking cross but Carwin seems unphased.
Quela does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Carwin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Quela. Quela circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Quela misses the jab.
The fighters circling - Quela throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Quela walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Carwin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Carwin looks to land a right hand but Quela moved out of range.
Quela jabs Carwin to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Carwin ducks under a wild hook from Quela.
A lazy body kick from Quela
and Carwin counters with a nice uppercut.
Quela throws a nice inside leg kick.
Carwin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Shane Carwin has been cut.
Quela throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Carwin throws a head kick but Quela moves out of range.
Carwin looks winded!
Quela lands a big uppercut and Carwin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Carwin looks OK. Quela waves Carwin back to his feet!
Carwin is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carwin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Carwin is still on wobbly legs! Can Quela finish him?
Quela cracks Carwin with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Carwin tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Quela pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Carwin is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chung Quela!
A very excited looking Chung Quela made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
