Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jai Malek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jai Malek could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Carter Johnson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carter Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malek has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Malek there as he acknowledges the shot.
Johnson moves out of range of the leg kick from Malek.
Johnson checks the leg kick.
Johnson punishes Malek's body with a nice straight punch.
Johnson lands with a nice body punch.
Malek throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Malek defends it nicely.
Johnson avoids the body shot from Malek.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Malek shows good takedown defense.
Malek moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson blocks a head kick by Malek.
Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Malek sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.
Jai Malek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carter Johnson.

Malek lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Malek is looking to chop away at Johnson's legs.
Malek tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johnson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Malek moves away.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Malek has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Malek's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Malek wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Johnson is now in half guard.
Johnson wants to free his trapped foot but Malek is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Malek keeps working.
Johnson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Malek with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Johnson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Malek knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Malek has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Johnson is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's time! Malek's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Malek ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Malek no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Malek escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Malek is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Johnson is aware though and is defending well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Malek is out cold! Johnson jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
