Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rob Tracey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pele Fusuaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tracey comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Seek & Destroy. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rob Tracey! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Pele Fusuaga! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fusuaga takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fusuaga misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tracey.
Fusuaga swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fusuaga fails in his attempt to clinch. Tracey has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nights Watch MMA Academy in the buildup to the fight. Tracey scores with a nice head shot. Fusuaga throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Tracey looks to land a left hand but Fusuaga moved out of range nicely. Fusuaga lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Fusuaga throws out a loose jab but Tracey uses good head movement to avoid it. Rob Tracey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tracey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fusuaga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fusuaga scores with a jab to the body. Sloppy strikes from Tracey. Those never looked like landing. Fusuaga ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tracey moves away. Tracey cracks Fusuaga with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Tracey throws out a powerful jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tracey misses with a lunging right hand
and Fusuaga counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tracey thinking. Tracey takes a body punch but keeps moving. Fusuaga misses with a wild body shot. Tracey misses with a right hand and Fusuaga counters with a left to the body. Fusuaga uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tracey. Fusuaga throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fusuaga moves out of range as Tracey strikes. Tracey takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Fusuaga misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tracey.
Tracey throws a right and a left that both miss. Tracey ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Fusuaga is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fusuaga is rocked! Tracey darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Fusuaga's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Tracey before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rob Tracey! Rob Tracey retains his featherweight title! Rob Tracey very nearly forgot to thank Fury Nutrition Inc. amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
